It’s a hot summer and water slides can be immensely fun, especially the giant Royal Flush at the BSR Cable Park in Waco, Texas. But what happens if you decide to go backwards on one?

Matt Hess decided he has to be the brave soul to try the feat, and he recorded his entire experience on video in the process.

The following short clip shows you Hess’s descent on the slide and his daring jump and landing in the water — the look on his face during everything is “priceless,” as he describes it on YouTube.

“Went to that mega slide that made front page of Reddit last month – I was the only person brave enough to go down backwards and the only person stupid enough to not realize you’d smack your head on the incline – the look on my face is priceless,” he wrote.
