AT&T released a new flavor of USBConnect dongle today along with the claim that it’s the “world’s smallest” device of its kind. We’re not exactly sure if business users are going to factor this claim in when choosing a carrier or device, but we supposed they had to talk about something. The USBConnect Quicksilver is AT&T’s latest LaptopConnect device and is fully compatible with the carrier’s nationwide HSPA network. Of course you can also fork up some extra cash and roam on 3G and EDGE networks in over 150 countries around the world.  The Quicksilver can be used on both PC and Mac (OS 10.4+) and it’s free with a LaptopConnect plan of $60 or more.
