The 2016 NFL season is over and Super Bowl Sunday has finally arrived. On Sunday, February 5th at 3:30PM PT / 6:30PM ET, the Atlanta Falcons will face off against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. While this will be the Patriots’ seventh Super Bowl appearance since 2000, the Falcons haven’t been since 1999. In fact, that was Atlanta’s only appearance to date, and they lost.
But nearly two decades later, the Falcons have stormed back to the title game, with QB Matt Ryan being named NFL MVP and Offensive Player of the Year after setting Falcons franchise records for passing yards, touchdowns and more. The question is, will it be enough to stop Tom Brady’s unstoppable Patriots?
If you want to watch the game (which we assume you do), you have several options to choose from. If you have cable or a over-the-air antenna, you can simply tune into Fox to watch the game and all of the pregame coverage. If you aren’t near a TV or don’t have access to cable, you can head to FoxSportsGo.com on your computer instead, or download the Fox Sports Go mobile app on Android or iOS.
Although you typically have to log in with cable information to access the app, Fox is streaming the game for free on Sunday, so all you have to do is tap on the stream and start watching. The app is also available for a wide variety of other devices, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast and Xbox One.
Sadly, the Fox Sports Go app is not available on the PlayStation 4, but if you’re desperate to watch on Sony’s game console, you can sign up for a free trial of PlayStation Vue and tune in to the game that way. Just be sure to cancel your subscription right away so you don’t forget and receive an unwelcome charge.
Verizon Wireless has secured exclusive access to the NFL Mobile app for its subscribers, so unless you’re a Verizon customer, you won’t be able to stream the game or any coverage from your smartphone.
As always, Fox will be hosting a variety of pregame entertainment all morning and afternoon. The official Fox Super Bowl Pregame show begins at 2:00PM ET though, and will take you all the way to the game at 6:30PM. If you’re just here for Lady Gaga, the halftime show should begin at around 8:30PM.
