All eyes have been on Sony and Microsoft over the past several months as the two companies gear up to launch new home consoles this holiday season, but as quiet as Sony has been in regards to the PlayStation 5, we’ve heard even less from Nintendo about its Switch lineup for the rest of 2020. In fact, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which is out this Friday, is the last game published by Nintendo with a set release date this year.
It’s been over six months since the last Nintendo Direct livestream (not counting the Directs focused on Pokemon and Animal Crossing in January and February), but Nintendo finally emerged from the shadows on Tuesday for an all-new Indie World Showcase, with 20 minutes of information about indie games coming soon to the Switch. Below, we’ve rounded up every Switch game and release date revealed during the stream.
Blue Fire | Summer 2020
