We might not have 17 new trailers to show you like last week, but there are nine new clips from this past week that you definitely need to check out, including new Mel Gibson and Daniel Radcliffe movies.

Blood Father

Mel Gibson is back to play Liam Neeson’s character in a Taken adaptation called Blood Father. That’s pretty much all you need to know about this movie. Oh, and it’s coming out August 12th.

Edge of Winter

We can’t wait to see Joel Kinnaman handle the Suicide Squad gang, but that’s not the only movie he’s starring in this year. Edge of Winter opens on August 12th as well, and it’s also a family story featuring a dangerous father — but he’s looking to rekindle his relationship with his estranged boys.

Five Nights in Maine

Premiering on August 5th, Five Nights in Maine is a drama about love, loss and grief. It’s a story about life and conflict, starring David Oyelowo and Dianne West, that should be on your radar this year.

Goat

Goat

is a fraternity story that’s unlike those silly frat or sorority comedies you may have seen recently. It’s supposed to be a frightening behind-the-scenes tale of what can happen in the name of brotherhood. James Franco, Ben Schnetzer and Nick Jonas star in this one, which hits cinemas on September 23rd.

Imperium

It’s finally time for Daniel Radcliffe to shine in movies that aren’t part of the Harry Potter universe. He’s had a few parts worth mentioning in recent movies, but Imperium is an entirely different role for the young actor. Radcliffe plays an FBI agent who has to go undercover and infiltrate a group of white supremacy terrorists. Based on a real story, Imperium opens August 19th.

Kubo and The Two Strings

Kubo and The Two Strings

, which will be released on August 19th, is one of the two animations we’ve got on our list today. It’s the adventure of a boy, Kubo, who has to find a way to beat a spirit from the past. To help, his late father’s magical suit of armor should come in handy. Matthew McConaughey, Charlize Theron, Rooney Mara, Ralph Fiennes, Art Parkinson and others star in this one.

Sing

Sing

is the second animation of the day, and we’ve covered it a few times before. It’s about a singing koala. The movie also has an amazing cast, but it won’t hit theaters until December 21st.

Table 19

Yes, Table 19 looks like fun. From now on I want to sit at table 19, just check out who else is there. The movie premieres on January 20th next year, which means there’s plenty of time for more footage.

The Intervention

You better sit down for this one, because you’ve got some deja-vu incoming. If you’re in your late 20s to late 30s, you might know people who are just like the characters in The Intervention, complete with dysfunctional marriages and relationships. You might be one of them. That said, The Intervention is the kind of dramady that should be fun to watch, considering who stars in it. The film comes out on August 26th.
