Good news, folks, it’s already that time of the week when we try to forget about all the serious things that happen around us during the week while we enjoy new movie trailers for upcoming attractions. And this week was pretty busy in terms of disturbing news, so let’s unwind with a bunch of new clips, including the latest Ghost in the Shell video.

Colossal

In Colossal, Anne Hathaway plays a woman whose mental mood swings actually control a gianormous monster. A second trailer for the movie, which hits theaters on April 7th, is available below:

Dean

When Dean’s mother dies, he finds out he has to deal with all sorts of types of grief, including his dad’s desire to sell the home he grew up in. Dean starring Demetri Martin (as Dean), and Kevin Kline (as Dean’s dad), launches on June 2nd.

Everything, Everything

What happens when you’re allergic to everything and can’t get out of the house, but you fall in love with the boy next door? Apparently, Everything, Everything.

Ghost in the Shell

We’re almost there, Ghost in the Shell launches on March 31st, and we’re getting more and more footage from the movie. After the Super Bowl ad a few weeks ago it’s time to check out a brand new trailer for Paramount’s upcoming picture, that was released earlier this week.

Goon: Last of the Enforcers

Six years after the original Goon, we’re getting the sequel we never knew we wanted. Goon: Last of the Enforcers is a story about hockey and fighting, just like its predecessor, and Seann William Scott is back to… enforce things. More or less:

Maudie

Fans of biographical movies should add Maudie on their list. Starring Sally Hawkins as Maud Lewis the movie tells the story of how a housekeeper ended up becoming a beloved artist.

The Bad Batch

The second John Wick movie is currently playing in cinemas, but if you’re looking for more Keanu Reeves movies then jot down this title: The Bad Batch. And this time around we’re looking at a story that involves a dystopian world. And cannibals. Jason Momoa co-stars in this one.

The Institute

If you thought cannibalism is pretty creepy, then wait until you see the trailer for The Institute. It might not involve flesh-eating humans, but that doesn’t make the thriller any less frightening. Set for a March 3rd launch, the movie tells the story of a strange establishment that performs all sorts of psychological experiments on patients.

The House

The House

is the kind of comedy that I want to see without even knowing what the movie is about, as it’s a Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler affair. Who wouldn’t want to watch it? And when I hear that Ferrell and Poehler are a husband and wife who open a casino in their house to recoup their daughter’s college fund, I’m really sold. The House launches on June 30th.

The Ottoman Lieutenant

A love story taking place in The Ottoman Empire just around the time the huge military power entered the first world war, The Ottoman Lieutenant launches on March 10th. Michiel Huisman, Hera Hilmar, Josh Hartnett, and Ben Kingsley star in this one.

Chris Smith Senior Writer

Chris Smith has been covering consumer electronics ever since the iPhone revolutionized the industry in 2008. When he’s not writing about the most recent tech news for BGR, he brings his entertainment expertise to Marvel’s Cinematic Universe and other blockbuster franchises.

Outside of work, you’ll catch him streaming almost every new movie and TV show release as soon as it's available.
