Netflix has 25 new originals set for release in April – here’s the full list

Netflix has been on quite the roll lately, and it all led up to the company’s release earlier this week of the hotly anticipated stand-up special from Dave Chappelle. The legendary comedian came out of semi-retirement to release the first two installments from his series of Netflix specials. According to reports from late last year, Chappelle will earn $60 million from his Netflix deal. It’s a remarkable sum indeed, but it’s a drop in the bucket for Netflix, which continues to invest heavily in original content to separate itself from network television and from other streaming rivals such as Amazon and Hulu.

The streaming media giant has seen great success with its strategy thus far, and Netflix has no plans to slow down. In fact, Netflix is releasing a whopping 25 original titles next month alone, and we’ve laid them all out for you here along with their release dates.

April 2017 is the busiest month in Netflix history as far as original releases go, and there are some huge releases in there that people have been eagerly anticipating such as Louis C.K.’s new special and the return of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
