We’re only halfway through May, and we’re already getting another round of title additions (and subtractions) from Xbox Game Pass. However, with every new game coming to the service, there is another game that we must say goodbye to.
In a blog post, Xbox has announced what’s new for Game Pass in the second half of May 2024. There is one game that is available to play right now, some more games that are coming throughout the rest of the month, and a number of games that are leaving the subscription service.
The announcement comes only two weeks after the company announced its first wave of updates to Game Pass in May, so this month is turning out to have a lot going on for subscribers. Let’s jump in.
What’s new on Xbox Game Pass in May 2024 (Wave Two
Here’s everything that’s coming to Xbox Game Pass in May 2024:
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons – May 14th
The first game coming to Xbox Game Pass in the second half of May is Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. It will be available on Cloud, Console, and PC and launch on the service on May 14th.
The critically acclaimed and award-winning classic is returning to the Game Pass library! Guide two brothers on an epic fairy tale journey from visionary Swedish film director Josef Fares and developer Starbreeze Studios. Solve puzzles, explore the varied locations, and fight boss battles, controlling one brother with each thumb stick.
Chants of Sennaar – May 15th
The first game to come to Xbox Game Pass in May is Chants of Sennaar, which launches on May 15th and is available on Cloud, Console, and PC.
In this award-winning puzzle adventure game, play as the Traveler whose quest is to reunite the Peoples of the Tower. Observe, listen, and decipher ancient languages in a fascinating universe inspired by the Myth of Babel.
EA Sports NHL 24 – May 16th
The next game to come to Xbox Game Pass in May is EA Sports NHL 24, which launches on May 16th and is available on Cloud via EA Play.

Immortals of Aveum – May 16th
Another game coming to Xbox Game Pass in May is Immortals of Aveum, which also launches on May 16th and is available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S via EA Play.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II – May 21st
This is a big one. The next game to come to Xbox Game Pass in May is Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, which launches on May 21st and is available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. This is a Day One title, meaning it is available on Game Pass as soon as it goes on sale.
The sequel to the award winning Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Senua returns in a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland. Galacticare – May 23rd
The next game to come to Xbox Game Pass in May is Galacticare, which launches on May 23rd and is available on Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S. This is also, like Hellblade, a Day One release on the service.

Hauntii – May 23rd
Another game coming to Xbox Game Pass on May 23rd is Hauntii, which launches on the same day as Galacticare and is available on Cloud, Console, and PC. This title will also be available on day one on Game Pass.
Play as a brave yet naive little ghost, Hauntii, and set off on a quest guided by enigmatic Eternians. Possess, solve puzzles, and shape your fate in this captivating adventure. The game’s hand-crafted art style blends line art and animation with a striking palette, creating a visually captivating experience. Moving Out 2 – April 30th
Another game to come to Xbox Game Pass in May is Moving Out 2, which launches on May 28th and is available on Cloud, Console, and PC.
Are you ready to become an all-star F.A.R.T? That’s a Furniture Arrangement & Relocation Technician in the world of Moving Out 2. Working solo, or with up to three friends, slip into your uniform and help the residents of Packmore, and beyond, to pack up and ship out!
Humanity – May 30th
The next game to come to Xbox Game Pass in May is Humanity, which launches on May 30th and is available on Cloud, Console, and PC.
Become a Shiba Inu and help reconstruct humankind in the acclaimed action-puzzle game Humanity. Drop commands to guide a mindless human horde to the goal through 90 increasingly challenging handcrafted story mode stages. Lords of the Fallen – May 30th
Another game to come to Xbox Game Pass towards the end of May is Lords of the Fallen, which launches on May 30th and is available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.

Leaving Xbox Game Pass on May 31st
With new games being added, there will also be games that we lose. The following games will removed from Xbox Game Pass on May 31, 2024:
