Kevin Hart was hilarious in the Ride Along movies. In fact, Ride Along 2 was so well received at the Box Office that it managed to dethrone Star Wars: The Force Awakens when it opened in mid-January – the new Star Wars took hold of the No. 1 spot for an entire month until Hart’s comedy strolled along. And it looks like Hart will keep on doing what he does best, playing the hilarious, clueless-but-still-useful sidekick in a similar comedy.
This time, it’s not the police, and he’s not partnering with Ice Cube. Instead, Hart graduates to the CIA in the upcoming movie Central Intelligence, and it’s Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who needs Hart’s help. From the looks of this first trailer, it seems that Hart is reluctant to get involved with the CIA but he’s forced into it.

Johnson and Hart play an unlikely duo. Old high-school pals, where Hart was the coolest kid on the block and Johnson was far less popular. The two reunite via Facebook years later. Johnson has grown into an action hero type who now works for the CIA, luring Hart, an accountant, into the shady world of intelligence games.
Central Intelligence should be at least as funny and as action-packed as the Ride Along movies, so keep an eye out for it on June 17th when it’s slated for release. In the meantime, check out the first official trailer for the movie below.
