I try not to judge a book by its cover, but the more I see of the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic, the less I want to see it. Steve Jobs was a fascinating, brilliant, volatile leader in the industry, but with three films about the man all releasing within three years of one another, I think we might finally be oversaturated.

Here’s the plot of Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs according to the film’s website: “Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.”

There are some huge names attached to the film, including Michael Fassbender in the titular role, Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman, Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak and Jeff Daniels as John Sculley, the temporary CEO of Apple. The screenplay was written by Aaron Sorkin, who previously struck gold writing about another tech icon, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, in his film The Social Network.

If all of that sounds a bit too melodramatic, you might prefer to hold off for The Man in the Machine, a documentary with real footage and interviews from the men and women closest to Steve Jobs.

The film will hit theaters on October 9th. Watch the latest trailer below:
