It’s pretty difficult to believe that Amazon got its start as an online bookseller. It seems like a lifetime ago. When we think of Amazon these days, we think of two main things before anything else. And second, we know Amazon as the company that makes all sorts of great hardware products that undercut rivals but still offer outstanding user experiences.

The entry-level Fire TV Stick is still Amazon’s best-selling streaming media player overall, but the upgraded Fire TV Stick 4K has sold even better in recent years. For just $10 more, you get support for 4K resolution and HDR content. Considering how affordable 4K TVs are these days, the Fire TV Stick 4K is clearly the better choice for most people.

On the Alexa side of things, it obviously goes without saying that the Echo Dot is Amazon’s best-selling Echo speaker. It’s Amazon’s most affordable Echo speaker by a sizeable margin, so it’s easy to buy a bunch of Echo Dots and ensure you can access Alexa and speak voice commands no matter where you are in your home.

The Fire TV Stick 4K costs $50 if you buy it on its own, and the Echo Dot is also $50 as a standalone purchase.
