Everyone who uses ridesharing apps has at least a couple of horror stories. But regardless of whether yours was the result of a creepy driver, a disgusting back seat, or an awkward conversation with someone who doesn’t have much in the way of people skills, it’s got absolutely nothing on this one from Seattle. That’s because it ends in a massive fire ball and (presumably) plenty of screaming.

A 40-year-old female Uber customer summoned a Nissan Xterra for a ride in Seattle on Monday night. The Nissan, which was being piloted by a 60-year-old driver, was spotted speeding down a road when it struck a Honda Accord and lost control. The SUV managed to go another two blocks, seemingly at full speed, before crashing through a gas station parking lot, splitting a pair of gas pumps and then slamming into a third.

The crash produced a huge fireball that was caught on the gas station’s security camera, and it looks like something straight out of a cheesy Hollywood action flick. The pump was sheered off completely, and the SUV was obviously destroyed in the process, but the driver somehow escaped without harm. The passenger suffered minor injuries, but the driver of the Accord that was involved in the initial collision was reportedly the most seriously injured of all.

According to local news, police investigating the crash obtained a warrant to collect a blood sample from the driver in order to determine if they were impaired at the time of the insane accident. Those findings have not yet been released.
