Against all odds, we’ve nearly made it through the first month of 2017, but a group of streaming movies on Netflix aren’t quite as fortunate. As always, Netflix will be removing a selection of content from its streaming library on February 1st, so once again, we’ve gone through the list to pick out 10 movies you need to watch before they vanish. As with December’s list, there are some real highlights on here.
Netflix removes content sporadically throughout the month, but most of the major titles disappear on the first day of the month. You probably won’t be able to watch all of these movies before next Wednesday (unless you binge watch), but you should have time to watch a couple this weekend.
These are our picks for the ten best movies that will no longer be available for streaming on February 1st:
- An Inconvenient Truth
- Black Hawk Down
- Jackass 2.5
- The Machinist
- Mission: Impossible III
- There Will Be Blood
- What’s Eating Gilbert Grape
Personally, I’ll probably take a couple hours out of my day on Saturday to rewatch Clerks for the first time in nearly a decade. And for any of you who are excited about the upcoming sequel, this is the perfect time to watch the original Trainspotting again before Netflix dumps it.
There are several other noteworthy titles leaving Netflix streaming next month, so be sure to check out the full list at this link to figure out what you need to put in your queue for February.
