If there is one thing that rings true on every corner of the Internet, it’s this: where there is a comments section, there will be trolls. Some people seemingly have nothing better to do than to sit around and post malicious and inflammatory comments all day, and they tend to ruin any chances of people having an intelligent conversation.
Of course, it’s not just blogs and news sites that have to worry about trolls, and Instagram users are all too familiar with that fact. But now, there may finally be an app that can rid your Instagram photo feed of any and all traces of those annoying troll comments and spam.

“Instagram is a growing community of 300 million people,” app developer Kasaba Labs said in an email. “Instagram users love to share moments and photos of their life. Everyday the number of photos shared is increasing. At the same time irrelevant, spam, promotion, unwanted comments are out of control. You can not enjoy your favorite celeb’s page because it is filled with spam comments. Many people complained about this on their instagram and twitter page.”
The company continued, “We developed Spotless app that will delete spam Instagram comments automatically.”
Using the app is remarkably easy. The app runs in the cloud and uses keywords for filters. So, for example, if you don’t want people posting comments on your photos asking for shoutouts or follows, simply create filters for “shoutout” and “follow.” Moving forward, any comments with either of those words will automatically be deleted shortly after they’re posted.
