If you have been a Netflix subscriber for any substantial amount of time, there are two universal truths you now accept. First, Netflix is awesome but it can often still be quite difficult to find something good to watch (for help finding the best content Netflix has to offer, check out this post). Second, your Netflix queue has grown into a big mess. In fact, it may have gotten to the point where you don’t even use your queue anymore, and you just browse new and recommended releases on Netflix instead.

Don’t despair, however. It’s not too late to turn things around in your Netflix queue, and these five simple steps will help you quickly find your way to Netflix queue recovery.

FROM EARLIER: This is the app Netflix users have been dying for

Netflix queues have been mismanaged so much by users at this point that Netflix doesn’t even always make your queue easily accessible in its various apps. Instead, the service focuses on displaying recommendations, popular titles, new titles and featured content from different genres.

It’s time to take your Netflix queues back, people.

Decider recently published a quick post that will help you regain control of your Netflix queue in no time. In just five easy steps, you’ll be back to having a queue full of solid content that you actually want to watch.

First and foremost, you’ll need to log onto the Netflix website, open your queue and delete anything on there with a “best guess” rating of fewer than three stars. Netflix issues best guess ratings based on things you’ve viewed and/or rated in the past, so they’re generally pretty accurate.

Next, change the view in your queue to sort by “Netflix Suggests.” Then scroll to the bottom and delete the last four rows of movies. You’ll definitely be glad you did.

You’re now almost half way home. For the rest of Decider’s instructions along with images to guide you through the process, follow the link below in our source section.
