It might not be happening as fast as most Galaxy S5 owners would have hoped, but the rollout of Android 5.0 Lollipop on Samsung’s flagship smartphone is continuing to expand. SamMobile reports that Galaxy S5 owners in Spain have begun received the latest update for Google’s mobile OS and that more European countries should see the update soon.

READ MORE: Yes, Android Lollipop for the Galaxy S5 is finally here. No, you can’t have it yet.

Up until now, the Lollipop update for the Galaxy S5 has only been available in Poland and South Korea, but now that it has gone live in Spain, it is expected to move across Europe over the next several weeks.

There’s still no word on when Samsung will make the update available in the United States, but Google has made it very clear that it is working to bring Lollipop to the latest flagship devices at a much quicker pace than previous updates.

Once the Galaxy S5 has been updated, the Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S4 and other recent devices are expected to be brought up to speed as well. We’ll be keeping an eye out for news of further expansion in the near future.
