Rogue One

may be one of the most anticipated sci-fi movies of the year, given that it’s part of the Star Wars world, but that’s not the only space movie you should be excited about. Arrival is also a title to remember, and its first trailer is quite promising. Check out this week’s hottest new movie trailers below!

American Honey

The second trailer for American Honey is already out after we’ve recently seen the first one. The movie opens September 30th.

Arrival

If you ask me, when aliens will decide to finally make contact, they will already be able to understand our languages and communicate their intentions. But what if that’s not going to be the case? Well, in that case, linguists will step up to the plate to try to communicate with them. Which is exactly the plot of Arrival, a sci-fi movie you should be excited about.

The movie launches on November 11th and stars Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, and Forest Whitaker.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Yes, there’s a new Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trailer, and you have to see it. The movie is part of the Harry Potter universe, a prequel, if you will, and comes out November 18th.

Hidden Treasures

Coming out on January 13th, 2017, about a month after Rogue One, is Hidden Figures. It’s a drama that tells the story of a team of African-American women working for NASA ahead of the program’s first successful space mission. The cast includes Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monae, Kevin Costner, Kirsten Dunst, and Jim Parsons.

Rogue One

Didn’t we just have a Rogue One trailer in last week’s roundup? Yes, yes we did. But the following one was released a few days after that. It’s the international version that has one huge plot revelation.

Same Kind of Different as Me

In Same Kind of Different as Me, we have Renee Zellweger playing a woman who’s got romantic problems. But that’s where the similarities end between this movie and any Bridget Jones flick. Same Kind of Different as Me, we’re looking at a drama about a struggling couple and a homeless man, and how all their lives are about to be changed. Also starring are Greg Kinnear, Djimon Hounsou, and John Voight. The movie launches on February 3rd, 2017.

The Sea of Trees

The Sea of Trees

launches next Friday, and stars Matthew McConaughey, Naomi Watts, and Ken Watanabe. There, you have three reasons to see it. If that’s not enough, then just check the following short trailer.
