Google’s Inbox by Gmail just added 2 awesome features you’ll want to use immediately

Google thinks that its Inbox by Gmail app is the future of email and with the two new features it just added, it’s hard to disagree. Today, Google revealed that it’s giving Inbox new search capabilities that will give you the information you want without having to actually open up your email messages.

So for example, when you search for something like “dinner reservation” in Inbox, the app will retrieve the times and locations of all your upcoming reservations and will show them right at the top of your search results. Similarly, searching for “frequent flyer number” will just bring up your different frequent flier numbers so you don’t have to open up separate emails from different airlines.

As you can see, it can also find things like package tracking numbers, membership ID numbers, bills that are due, and much more.

The second key feature Google just added to Inbox by Gmail involves streamlined search results. Below the “quick answers” that Google shows at the top of your Inbox search results, it will also post a “Top results” section that will give you emails in order of relevance. Below these top results are all related emails in the order which you received them but Google says that “chances are you won’t have to look here often.”
