Maisie Williams, who plays Arya in Game of Thrones, said in an interview at London’s Critics’ Circle Awards 2016 that there’s a huge twist regarding Jon Snow’s death.

The actress said a few months ago in a radio interview that Snow is definitely dead, Mashable reminds us, but now she seems to paint a slightly different picture. Sure, Williams can’t tell us outright that Snow will resurrect, even though there’s plenty of unofficial evidence pointing in that direction. But she does build up excitement for Season 6, which is set to premiere on April 24th on HBO.

“It was awful, it was really awful,” Williams said about Snow’s death. “Everyone was so sad about it, and I feel so mean because I speak to people and they’re all like, ‘Jon Snow, is he back?’, and it’s really heartbreaking because people are like, ‘Yeah, but he’s coming back though?’.”

“There’s a great twist, but I can’t say that he’s going to be alive,” she then added – see it in the video below, after the 3-minute mark.

As for Season 6, Williams teased that fans will really enjoy it, without giving away anything about the plot.

“I loved shooting this series, I think people are going to really enjoy it,” the actress said. “Everything is now sort of wrapping up and slotting into place for like, the finale, and I love that all the pieces are coming together.”
