Ellen DeGeneres was not shy about using a Galaxy phone during Sunday’s 86th edition of the Academy Awards to take pictures of herself and others both on stage and backstage during the Oscars, Entertainment Weekly reports. One of Ellen’s pictures quickly became Twitter’s most retweeted tweets of all time, breaking the previous record held by a photo posted by President Barack Obama at the end of his 2012 reelection campaign. Ellen actually used what appears to be a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on stage to take a blurry selfie which was retweeted almost 170,000 times and favorite over 250,000 times. But the “best selfie ever” included plenty of stars that can be easily recognized, and got over 2.5 million retweets and almost 1.2 million favorites on Twitter so far. “If only Bradley [Cooper]’s arm was longer. Best photo ever,” the message accompanying the photo reads.

In addition to being present on stage in Ellen’s hands, Samsung also attacked the Oscars this year with a TV ad campaign for its new products including the Galaxy S5 and the Gear 2. Ellen’s tweets mentioned above, as well as a video showing how that extremely popular selfie was taken follow below.
