The Gear Fit is Samsung’s curved take on the fitness band

Samsung Gear Fit Reveal

Because two wearable devices just wasn’t enough, Samsung has unveiled a third entry into the 2014 lineup at Mobile World Congress: the fitness-minded Gear Fit. The Gear Fit is a more compact device than the Galaxy Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo smartwatches, although it offers much of the same functionality. The Gear Fit features a 1.84-inch curved AMOLED display, a 210 mAh battery that should last 3-4 days between charges, Bluetooth connectivity and a changeable strap. Inside the Fit is an accelerometer, gyro and heart rate sensors. Apps to monitor your workout sessions will be included, but third-party apps can be downloaded to the device as well. If you’re looking for a device that can keep track of your body while updating you of any notifications on your other Galaxy devices, the Fit might be the most affordable option yet when it arrives in April.
