How to watch the live stream of Microsoft’s Build 2016 conference at 11:30AM ET

Microsoft Build 2016 Live Stream

Just over a week after Apple wrapped up its own spring event, Microsoft is preparing to kick off its annual Build Developer Conference at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Although we shouldn’t expect to see any exciting hardware reveals, there should be a few announcements worth tuning in for at 11:30 a.m. ET.

DON’T MISS: The good news is that Microsoft’s AI chatbot isn’t a racist anymore…

According to Windows Central, the next major Windows 10 update is expected to take center stage at the event. Interactive Live Tiles, an improved notification center and potentially some Cortana additions are all on the table.

Xbox is also expected to make an appearance, especially as Microsoft moves closer and closer to unifying the Xbox One and Windows 10 experiences. Game announcements are extremely unlikely, but if you’re an Xbox One owner, you might learn something about the upcoming system updates.

Finally, there’s a chance we’ll see the HoloLens, or at least hear something about it now that developers have had a chance to go hands-on with the hardware. Having spent a few hours with the headset myself, I can tell you this is near the top of my list of things I’d like to see at the press conference today.

Unfortunately, Microsoft hasn’t provided an embeddable live stream, but you can watch the keynote presentation live at Microsoft’s Channel 9 site.
