Apple is highlighting a bunch of great indie games in the best way possible: by putting them on sale. The Indie Gems sale has at least 50 percent off some of the best indie games, with most of them now being $0.99 and $1.99.
DON’T MISS: Samsung is still on track to launch the Galaxy S8 early next year
Some of the games are semi-famous, having spent a decent amount of time at the top of the App Store charts. Threes, for example, is a puzzle game that spawned the immensely popular 2048 game shortly after. But the original, the work of sole developer Asher Vollmer, is still a masterpiece.
Some of the other games are less well known, but this is as good a chance as any to discover them. I love 80 Days, which is a rare adventure storytelling game that also has a competitive element. The sale price of $2 is also a lot cheaper than the regular $5.
