Apple on Monday seeded iOS 10 beta 5 to developers, which means you can also download it and install it on your iPhone or iPad right now. Just like with previous releases, you can install iOS 10 beta 5 even if you don’t have access to a developer account. We’d advise you to keep waiting for the iOS 10 public beta 4 instead, which should be rolled out on Tuesday.

DON’T MISS: This has to be the prettiest poster ever designed on an iPad

If you’re already on iOS 10 developer beta, regardless of whether you have access to a developer account, then you can upgrade to iOS 10 beta 5 just like you’d upgrade to any iOS version. Head to the Settings app, then General, and then Software Update. If you’re on iOS 10 public beta, then you’ll have to follow the same steps to upgrade to iOS 10 public beta 4 (which is going to provide the same features as iOS 10 beta 5).

If you’ve just discovered iOS 10 and want to try it out but don’t have access to a developer account you can either sign up for Apple’s public beta at this link: beta.apple.com.

If you want access to the developer release, then you’ll have to perform a search on Google to find a developer profile, install it on your device, and then go to the Settings app, and check Software Update to install iOS 10 beta 5.

We’ll tell you again that the safest route for you at this point is to wait a few more hours for the iOS 10 public beta 4 to roll out. It’s also the legal way, at least compared to using a developer account you don’t have official access to.

That said, YouTube channel iCrackUriDevice has a new video that highlights the new features of iOS 10 beta 5, as well as upgrade and downgrade instructions. Check it out below.
