Earlier today, Samsung unveiled a brand new Galaxy S7 edge smartphone, the kind of device that Gotham probably deserves but doesn’t really need at all.

The Galaxy S7 edge Batman edition is a regular Galaxy S7 edge restyled to look match Batman, which is all you need to know if you’re a fan of the Dark Knight. If you’re not, then having a black Galaxy S7 edge in your pocket that features a Batman logo on the back and Batman lock screen theme might not make much sense.
The special Galaxy S7 version commemorates the three-year anniversary of the release of Injustice: Gods Among Us, a Batman mobile game. Conveniently, though, the launch of the Galaxy S7 edge Batman edition follows the release of the Batman v. Superman movie – a blockbuster hit that didn’t get the warmest reception from critics.
The phone will be available for purchase in early June in certain markets, including China, Singapore, Korea, Latin America and others. The handset will ship with a free Gear VR headset, Injustice game credits and Oculus VR content vouchers.

The limited edition Galaxy S7 edge Injustice Edition will be available in early June exclusively in select territories, including China, Singapore, Korea, Latin America, Russia and others to be announced soon.With enhanced hardware and software capability, and bigger battery capacity ensuring long play time, the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is optimized for the best gaming experience, fueling a natural partnership between the two brands.
Developed from the ground up by award-winning NetherRealm Studios, the Injustice: Gods Among Us mobile game delivers stunning graphics and a completely unique fighting gameplay experience. The game features a collectible card mechanic and engages players in 3-on-3 tag team combat that features many of DC’s most iconic characters.
