Here at BGR we have been known to drop a tweet or two from time to time — we’re looking squarely at you @bettiol — and although we usually use a certain Twitter client since we’re rockin’ BlackBerry smartphones, we were still happy to hear Twitter’s mobile site has received a makeover. The previous iteration of Twitter’s mobile site was, how do we put this, non functional impossible frustrating useless bad, so when the new site hit we were skeptical. However, we are happy to report that the new mobile site is fully featured, properly laid out, easy to use, and well designed. We actually kind of like it. Now, the current version is only optimized for WebKit based browsers (Android, iPhone, WebOS, ect.), but the site does seem to run on our BlackBerry browsers just fine. Go ahead, take you handset over to mobile.twitter.com and give it a whirl. If you are really bored you could always friend @mdflores, @andrewmunchbach@bettiol or our official @boygeniusreport account. Don’t say we didn’t warn you about Mikey though!

P.S. We’d post BG’s Twitter username but he insists on only having “organic” followers. If you’d like to add him, it’s not like it is rocket science…
