Slowly Sony Ericsson is lining up its early 2009 Cybershot portfolio as the first of the three expected Cybershot phones, the Sony Ericsson Kate, has reportedly been given the real name C510. The C510 will be the least-capable model of the three upcoming phones, sporting a 3.2MP camera instead of the 5MP camera found on the candybar Filippa and the high end slider Frances. The Kate / C510 will offer up the following features:

  • Cybershot UI 2.0
  • 2.2″ QVGA display
  • 3.2Mp camera with AF
  • Smile Shutter
  • Active lens cover
  • 120 Mb built-in memory + M2 card slot
  • Photo and video light
  • Illuminated imaging shortcuts
  • Face detection, BestPic™, Photo fix

The C510 and the Filippa are expected to be released before the Frances with no estimated pricing yet. Given that the C510 is a lower-end Cybershot, it probably wont break your piggy bank too much. Hit the jump for a refresher on the specs for the Fillipa and the Frances.
