If you’re a fan of Saturday Night Live, you’ve probably been overwhelmed throughout the month of February. Not only has VH1’s SNL marathon dominated the airwaves, but the SNL 40th anniversary special is airing this Sunday on NBC. To celebrate, NBC has released a free SNL app featuring thousands of clips from the show dating back to the very first season.

Here’s the description of the app from iTunes:

The SNL App is a must-have for any Saturday Night Live fan. Find and watch thousands of sketches spanning the 40-season library, from the most current to the classic. Plus, you’ll get access to never-before-seen clips, an exclusive SNL emoji keyboard and easy access to SNL full episodes on the NBC App.

When you first open the app, it’ll ask you to choose your favorite season and your favorite types of sketches, giving you a personalized home page right off the bat. You can also browse sketches by season, episode or cast member.

The best feature might be the recommendation engine which learns what clips to show you based on the sketches you’ve watched and liked in the past. So if you just want to watch Will Ferrell on a loop, the app will probably pick up on that before too long.
