When it comes to sandwiches, people are extremely particular. Whether it’s deciding what they want on their sandwich or which sandwich shops are the best in town, sandwich lovers are an all around passionate bunch.

Recently, a man in Chicago took his passion for sandwiches to a whole new level. DNAinfo reports today that a man in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago recently robbed a Subway sandwich shop with a knife before opting to walk across the street to a Potbellys and, surprise surprise, order a sandwich.

The robbery reportedly took place at 4:30 p.m. last Monday. Upon exiting the fast food franchise, the alleged robber, one Fredrick Warren, began fleeing southbound on foot. We can only assume that he then got extremely hungry because he decided to trek up back north and hit up a nearby Potbellys shortly after 5:00 p.m.

The police, who were called immediately following the robbery, subsequently located Warren inside the Potbellys where he was apprehended while in the midst of eating his sandwich. He is being charged with armed robbery.
