Updated 4 years ago

According to a set of newly leaked screen shots purported to depict Verizon Wireless’ internal system, three new phones will be released by the nation’s top carrier next week. The most impressive of the trio is certainly the Samsung Continuum, a unique Android smartphone many believe will be unveiled at Samsung’s event next week. The Continuum features a 3.4-inch Super-AMOLED touchscreen display with a secondary 1.8-inch Super-AMOLED display beneath it, mobile hotspot capability, a 5-megapixel camera with HD video recording, 2GB of internal storage, microSDHC support and Android 2.1. The entry-level Motorola CITRUS, announced last month, features a 3-inch QVGA touchscreen display, Android 2.1 with MOTOBLUR and mapping services powered by Microsoft Bing. Finally, the Samsung Zeal is an update to the Alias 2, featuring an E Ink QWERTY keypad, a 2.6-inch QVGA display and a 2-megapixel camera. All three of these handsets are rumored to be launching on November 11th. Hit the break for more details on each of these upcoming phones.
