It’s come to this: McDonald’s unveils its first organic burger

The next time the Hamburglar swipes some burgers from McDonald’s in Germany, he’s going to be eat the most environmentally friendly burger he’s ever had. McDonald’s announced on Friday that on October 1st it will start selling the McB, its first hamburger to feature “100% organic beef” along with “Lollo Bionda lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, red onion rings, Edam cheese, various sauces and a dark bread.”

So, what does an all-organic McDonald’s hamburger look like? Here’s your answer:

Not too bad!

McDonald’s, of course, has been on a mission to change its image from being a diabetes gateway to being a respectable food establishment. Recently it’s tried serving kale to customers, which is something we never would have imagined when we first stuffed our faces with chicken nuggets many decades ago.
