Kickstarter Revocharge Wireless Battery

Revocharge is the name of a new iPhone and Android accessory that wants to let users wirelessly and efficiently recharge their devices on the go. To become a reality, Revocharge is currently raising money on Kickstarter and has already collected almost $7,000 of its $15,000 goal with 39 days left in the campaign.

Revocharge is a combination of devices that work together to bring smartphone users an extra charge, including a special slim case with a magnetic back that enables wireless charging on the iPhone, and a magnetic highly portable battery that snaps on the back of that case that can offer a 2,000mAh charge.

Additionally, a variety of mounting systems are available, including a car mount, desk mount, armband and belt clip, all of which can be magnetically attached to an iPhone or Android device to wirelessly charge it.

Furthermore, the battery pack comes with smart charging technology that allows it to recognize the kind of device it’s charging and adapt to it in order to improve efficiency. The Desk Mount offers data syncing support, and additional USB ports for charging more devices.

The cheapest Evocharge package includes an iPhone case, magnetic battery and cable, sells for $39 on Kickstarter, or $60 off the retail price, and should ship in November 2014. Other product combinations are available, depending on the other accessories users want to add to their Revocharge package.

A video explaining how Revocharge works follows below.

Chris Smith started writing about gadgets as a hobby, and before he knew it he was sharing his views on tech stuff with readers around the world. Whenever he's not writing about gadgets he miserably fails to stay away from them, although he desperately tries. But that's not necessarily a bad thing.
