Several reports have claimed that Apple’s next-generation iPhone 6 is entering mass production and we all know what that means: more leaks. With production ramping up at Foxconn and component manufacturing in full swing at Apple’s other partners, we’re likely entering a period where new leaks will pop up just about every day. For anxious Apple fans who can’t wait to get their hands on the iPhone 6, these leaks will show you exactly what to expect. For those who would rather be surprised this fall, it might be a good idea to shut off your internet service for a few months.

To start off this next phase of iPhone leaks, a Weibo user has published images of a fully assembled iPhone 6.

FROM EARLIER: A week with iOS 8

The internal components obviously haven’t been assembled within the phone, but Weibo user DreamerJimmy has seemingly managed to secure all external iPhone 6 parts. As such, his images may give us our first look at Apple’s next-generation iPhone as we’ll see it when we take it out of the box following its launch this fall.

Of note, Taiwanese actor Jimmy Lin, aka DreamerJimmy, leaked photos of both the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini before the devices launched in 2012.

Seen in the photo are the new larger housing, the metal Apple logo insert on the back, the rear camera unit and LED flash, the front panel with its LCD display, the home button and color-matched metal ring surrounding it, and all of the buttons on the sides of the phone.

The new shape of the handset matches earlier leaks exactly, and we can also see the relocated power button on the right edge of the phone. The new iPhone is also shown next to Apple’s iPhone 5s for comparison.

According to earlier reports from a number of solid sources, Apple’s iPhone 6 will feature a new thinner design and a larger 4.7-inch display. Plugged-in KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also noted that the device will be powered by a new Apple A8 processor, and he said the phone will support NFC as well. Subsequent reports have stated that Apple once again decided not to include NFC, however.

The iPhone 6 is expected to be released sometime in September, and Apple is also expected to launch a second new iPhone with a 5.5-inch screen in October or November.
