iPhone 6 or Galaxy S6 storage problems? SanDisk’s new 128GB memory solution can fix them

More Android device makers are starting to remove from flagship devices the microSD slot that offered buyers in the past a way of increasing local storage on a smartphone or tablet, with this year’s Galaxy S6 family being one such example. As for Apple, the iPhone maker never offered customers access to expandable memory, aiming to improve both iPhone design and actual memory performance.

DON’T MISS: Some of the best Amazon Prime Day deals are still available

However, those iPhone 6 and Galaxy S6 owners looking for more readily available memory now have a new SanDisk product to check out, one that’s compatible with regular computers and smartphones.

The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick is a USB flash drive that packs a built-in wireless chip. The stick can be used both as a regular flash drive, by plugging it into a compatible USB port, or over-the-air, with the help of an accompanying app on the iPhone or Android device.

The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick comes in various sizes, from 16GB all the way up to 128GB of storage. Prices range from $29.99 for the entry-level model to $99.99 for the 128GB memory stick.

The device has its own internal battery, in addition to a Wi-Fi chip, and can support a single stream of data for up to 4.5 hours on a charge.

SanDisk’s new smartphone and the tablet-friendly memory stick is already available for purchase from Amazon, Best Buy and SanDisk.com.
