As one would expect, the iPhone 5 can withstand drops from a few feet off the ground and still come out alive, but its unibody aluminum frame will get dented and warped in the process. It does take a handful of tries before the iPhone 5’s screen relents and cracks, but unless you’re a total klutz, it looks like it should be capable of taking a few accidental drops.
