Charge your iPhone on the go with this incredible motion charger

iMoveCharger Smartphone Motion Charger

Trying to charge your phone or tablet while you’re out and about is one of the most frustrating conundrums facing portable device owners today. If you’re willing to charge and carry around an extra accessory or two, you can squeeze a few additional hours out of your iPhone, but external battery packs and portable phone chargers are anything but ideal. iMoveCharger is not only one of the most clever solutions to on-the-go charging we’ve ever seen, but it could keep you in shape in the process.

“The charging of any type of smart phone or tablet is possible by simply connecting an electronic device (with one of the included adapters) to the iMoveCharger, selecting the appropriate voltage from 3.3 vdc to 15 vdc, and moving,” writes the team.

“That’s it. How’s that for multitasking? Whether placed in a purse or carried in a pocket, the small, everyday movements that people make, whether running, walking or even just bending over, will be enough to generate enough energy to charge a device through the utilization of the integrated proven electronic generator.”

The campaign on Indiegogo is currently sitting at just over $1000 with 11 days left to reach the $25,000 funding goal. If the team is able to reach its goal, the iMoveCharger be able to go into mass production and backers will receive their units before anyone else. The iMoveCharger is expected to retail for $80, however the first 1,000 units will only cost $50. Watch the generator in action below to see how the device will function.
