With MWC around the corner, Qualcomm took to Twitter to tease that a new smartphone with a top-shelf Snapdragon 810 chip inside is going to soon launch. So far, only LG’s G Flex 2 packs the 64-bit octa-core processor, having already been announced at CES 2015 in January.

FROM EARLIER: HTC One M9 fully revealed in biggest leak yet

“It’s almost time for a new #Snapdragon 810 powered smartphone,” the chipmaker wrote on Twitter, posting a teaser Vine alongside the short message.

The likely candidates to make use of the flagship Qualcomm processor are Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and HTC’s One M9, though many reports have suggested that Samsung will not be using the Snapdragon 810 processor for the Galaxy S6. As a result, Qualcomm is likely hinting that the HTC One M9 will come with a Snapdragon 810 processor inside, just as earlier leaks suggested.

Other visual cues, including the smartphone profile in a short video and the time used in it also seem to indicate that the HTC One M9 is the handset in question. 8:10 is likely referring to the Snapdragon 810 processor, while 10:08 appears in all HTC smartphone press renders.

The time quickly moves to 10:09, another indication the phone is the HTC One M9.

Both the HTC One M9 and the Galaxy S6 will be announced on March 1st in Barcelona, Spain. Qualcomm’s tweet and Vine follow below.
