HTC (2498) still has plenty of work ahead of it if the company hopes to regain the momentum it saw in mid-2011 when it reported six straight months of record revenue. Things have been rocky for HTC since then, and its short-term hopes for a rebound lie squarely on the shoulders of its upcoming flagship smartphone, code-named “M7.” The handset will be unveiled during a press conference on February 19th, but to whet eager fans’ palate ahead of next week’s event, HTC has released a short teaser video alongside a countdown clock that ticks down the seconds until the show begins.
