Attention Android fans who want to get Android 5.0 Lollipop before anyone else: This is your chance. Google has just started taking preorders for its new Nexus 6 smartphone, a massive new device that will act as a showcase for the latest Android software.

UPDATE: Well, that was fast. It looks like the Nexus 6 is amazingly already out of stock, so actually can’t preorder it right now. It looks like the 32GB version is the only version that was available for preorder, as the 64GB version is only listed as “coming soon.”

The Nexus 6 is a Motorola-manufactured device that features killer specifications including a 5.96-inch QHD display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1440 pixels (498 pixels per inch), a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 2.7GHz processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, a 3,200mAh battery and Android 5.0.

Even more importantly, it is also the first smartphone released so far that will run Android 5.0 right out of the box. Android 5.0, which Google fully unveiled earlier this month, has several terrific new features including Google’s new Material Design user interface that incorporates fluid physics-based animations, new actionable notifications that can be accessed directly from the lock screen, battery-saving features courtesy of Google’s Project Volta, and support for 64-bit architecture.
