Every week, a landslide of video game trailers hit the Internet, hyping up the games that have just been released, the games that are about to be released and even the games that don’t have release dates. It can be a bit overwhelming to keep up with all of them, which is why we’ve decided to collect our favorites into a single post.

LAST TIME: Game trailers of the week: Persona 5, Assassin’s Creed Rogue, Guild Wars 2 and more

This week was much calmer than last week, with far fewer triple-A studios deciding to release their trailers all at once. Nevertheless, there were still a few that you don’t want to miss. Oh, and we’re making the additional Kickstarter trailer a regular thing.

Just Cause 3

Just Cause 3 is my most anticipated game of 2015. I spent more time with Just Cause 2 than just about any other console game in 2010. The third installment in the franchise looks like it’s going to be everything fans of the first two games want — more of the same, but with way bigger explosions. And now we know it’s coming this holiday season.

Until Dawn

I’m still skeptical about the final product, but Sony is putting a lot of effort into marketing this game. If Until Dawn can fill a gap in the survival horror genre, it’ll find an audience, but I’m not sure that audience it going to stretch beyond horror movie fanatics.

Evolve

Evolve is the biggest release of the year so far, which meant including its launch trailer this week was all but a given. I’m still gathering my thoughts on the game for a full review next week, but for now, you can watch me play through a couple of matches on our YouTube channel.

Windward

I’m a sucker for water in video games. Windward, an early access game, has plenty of water, as you take on the role of a ship captain charting dangerous territory in a procedurally generated world.

Elite: Dangerous

I have still yet to pull the trigger on actually buying Elite: Dangerous, but I can’t stop watching videos of it in action. In the latest update, the team at Frontier Developments added “city lights on the dark side of planets, community goals, an updated trade route planner, and more.” See some of that in the video above.

Strength of the Sword Ultimate (Kickstarter)

Strength of the Sword Ultimate claims to be a brawler mixed with a fighting game. Filled with swords. To be honest, I kind of got distracted by the incredible comics the team created for the Kickstarter project. Check out the Kickstarter page here.
