As speculation surrounding the specifications of upcoming smartphones heats up, Samsung is trying to find ways to keep up the pace with its patented multiple releases throughout the year. Although there hasn’t been any word from Samsung quite yet, it seems to be only a matter of time until the smartphone maker announces the upgraded Galaxy S5 Prime. The latest indication of the higher-specced device comes from Olleh TV, a South Korean TV service which lists the Galaxy S5 Prime as one of the devices compatible with its mobile app.

Any mention of the S5 Prime has since been removed, but a screenshot of the listing seems to reveal the device’s code name: SM-G906. The rumored S5 Prime is purported to feature a QHD (2560 x 1440) display and a metallic body, but the image used on the Olleh TV website is the same image of the phone with a Spigen cover that appeared in the initial leak three months ago.

That leak also noted that the S5 Prime would feature a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, a 16-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM, a 3,000 mAh battery, support for 4G LTE data speeds of up to 150Mbps, and Android 4.4 KitKat.

The Galaxy S5 Prime does not have a release date, but industry sources have indicated that the phone could launch as early as June.
