We all know Samsung’s (005930) Galaxy Note II is going to be a monstrous smartphone when it is finally unveiled, but this leaked image reveals just how huge Samsung’s second “phablet” will really be. Gadget blog Nowhereelse on Wednesday published the image above, which it claims to have received from a source identified only as William. The photo appears to have been taken in a plant where Samsung’s devices are assembled and it purportedly shows the glass face of the Galaxy Note II, which sports a 5.5-inch space for the phone’s display that matches earlier reports exactly. The Galaxy Note II is expected to be announced later this month according to Reuters, and rumored specs include a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a quad-core Exynos processor and possibly a 12-megapixel rear camera.[Via Engadget]
