Use a wooden spoon to prevent a pot of pasta from boiling over

As the bubbles of boiling water spring to the top, they are just as quickly popped by the wooden spoon, keeping everything nice and tidy in the process. You can, of course, also use a metal utensil and see the same result, but grabbing a wooden spoon is just a tad safer.

Keep wine perfectly chilled with frozen grapes

A clever way to keep wine perfectly chilled is to drop in a few frozen grapes. As opposed to water, grapes will not wind up diluting your drink with unwanted water.

Peel mangoes with ease by using a glass

Mangoes are as delicious as they can be frustrating to peel. A clever workaround hack for a pesky mango is to simply peel it using a glass. This one is truly incredible.

Cool your beer or soda bottle in a flash

Nothing puts a damper on a hot day than an equally hot beverage. If you have a glass bottle of beer or soda that you want to get ice cold in a short amount of time, forget the freezer altogether. Instead, wrap a wet paper town around the bottle and stick it in the fridge.

Easily get rid of unwanted and unpopped popcorn kernels

This one definitely falls into the “Why didn’t I think of that?” category.

Open a bottle of wine without a corkscrew

If there’s wine to be had and no corkscrew in sight, give your friends a good scare when you bring out a hammer to get the job done. Of course, the trick here is to insert a screw about three quarters of the way in and then extract it using the back-end of a hammer.
