Cards Against Humanity Black Friday Sale

We’ve spent the past two weeks alerting our readers to the best Black Friday 2015 deals we could find. It’s been trying at times, but we know how important this weekend is for both retailers and consumers.

But not everyone takes Black Friday quite so seriously.

MORE DEALS: Microsoft’s massive Black Friday sale is now live for dozens of Xbox One games

Today, the creators of popular party game Cards Against Humanity launched a Black Friday sale in which they are offering to take five dollars from you and give you nothing in return.

You read that correctly: on the company’s store page, you can fill out your credit card information, tick a box that says “I understand I am paying Cards Against Humanity $5 and receiving nothing in return,” and then click the button that says “Give us $5.”

Since the “deal” launched, the company has managed to rake in over $35,000. There’s no word yet on what the money will be used for, but they plan to make an announcement soon. In the meantime, you can’t even buy the card game directly from the store page. As the FAQ explains: “Sometimes buying nothing is better than buying Cards Against Humanity.”

The company has garnered a degree of fascination from fans for stunts like this in the past, the most notable of which involved the purchase of a small island, which was subsequently renamed Hawaii 2.

If you want to give Cards Against Humanity your money and don’t want anything in return, you can head to the online store and do exactly that.

Be sure to visit our Black Friday 2015 hub for more deals and sales events throughout the month.
