Here are all the new features you can expect to see in BlackBerry 10.3

BlackBerry 10.3 New Features

Other than getting into high-profile fights with Ryan Seacrest and T-Mobile, BlackBerry has been pretty quiet this year, in no small part because it’s officially started clamping down on leaks. However, the company decided to give the BlackBerry faithful a sneak peek at BlackBerry 10.3 on Thursday by writing a company blog post detailing 18 key new features that they can expect to see when the updated OS finally rolls out.

Among other things, BlackBerry 10.3 will introduce an updated “clean” look for all icons in the user interface; the ability to cram even more apps into folders; extra rows or columns of apps shown on the home screen; a BlackBerry Hub autosave feature that will save all your open content after 30 minutes of inactivity; a new feature that will shut off all your phone’s sound automatically if it sees from your calendar that you’re in a meeting; and new camera features that make taking and sending pictures easier.

There are plenty of other features that will roll out with BlackBerry 10.3 and the company has already rolled out its BlackBerry 10.3 SDK to the developer community, so BlackBerry diehards should hopefully get their hands on this new update soon. Be sure to check out the complete list of new features over at BlackBerry’s blog.
