If you thought selfie sticks were silly then you’ll probably hate this new smartphone accessory even more, but that’s only if you’re annoyed at people taking photos of themselves in all sorts of situations. On the other hand, if you definitely need to up your selfie game, and you’re tired of taking selfies in the mirror to highlight some of the otherwise more difficult body parts to photograph, then the Belfie Stick is definitely for you.

FROM EARLIER: South Korea delivers a huge blow to selfie photographers

Created by On.com, and revealed by Business Insider, the Belfie Stick is a $79.99 smartphone accessory that can help you take better pictures of your back, to spam others with.

The Belfie Stick is basically a more advanced selfie stick. It’s made of titanium and can be bent and angled according to your wishes in order to take the perfect photos of your posterior that you crave.

“Our users are our biggest indicator of selfie trends being that it’s the type of photo they post most often,” ON.com CTO Kevin Deegan said. “We’ve noticed a huge spike in users taking butt selfies in recent months so the natural next step was for us to develop a device to assist our users in taking one.”

In case this is the first time you hear about belfies, you should know the term has been coined by Kim Kardashian, with many other celebrities, and not only, using this particular pose in selfies.
