At some point, you’d think that Apple (AAPL) would give up on banning the Galaxy Nexus and instead focus on banning some of Samsung’s (005930) more popular devices instead. As Reuters reports, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. on Thursday rejected Apple’s request for a sales ban on the Galaxy Nexus, thus upholding a ruling  last fall that also denied Apple’s request for a sales ban. Reuters says Apple could still secure a sales ban on the Galaxy Nexus by appealing to the Supreme Court, although the publication casts doubt on whether such a strategy would be successful since SCOTUS has “made it more difficult for patent plaintiffs to secure sales injunctions in recent years.”
