If you’re still not convinced that Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop is the biggest update Android has received in a while, then you absolutely have to look past Material Design and check out the massive changelog for the new Android release. As Android Police points out, there are a total of 128,680 commits, making Lollipop the biggest update Android has received so far.

The publication notes that the changelog would be even bigger, but Google unbounded Chromium WebView from Android, “which counted for roughly half of the changes made to the GPL code in the L Developer Preview.”

The full Lollipop changelog can be accessed over at Funky Android (source link below), though regular users would be better off checking out a video we posted about earlier that highlights some of the most important features of Lollipop, Material Design included.

As for Lollipop’s actual launch schedule for Nexus devices, reports suggest that Android 5.0 has been delayed to November 12th, as Google is dealing with some bugs for the moment. Even Google confirmed on Twitter that Lollipop for supported Nexus devices will be released in a matter of weeks, but that doesn’t mean Lollipop can’t be unofficially installed, as developers have already come up with AOSP builds for Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and Nexus 7.
