Amazon on Tuesday announced that it’s working on a new TV series that’s going to be exclusively available for streaming to Prime subscribers. No real surprise there, of course, considering that Amazon has gotten so good at this it actually won a Golden Globe with one of its original series this year. But the move is one that many moviegoers will likely line up to watch; for the first time in his career, Woody Allen has agreed to write and direct a television series.

It’s not clear what the show will be about, and not even Allen knows all the details at this time.

“I don’t know how I got into this. I have no ideas and I’m not sure where to begin. My guess is that Roy Price will regret this,” Allen said.

The Untitled Woody Allen Project will be a half-hour series, and it has received a full season order. Customers in U.S., U.K. and Germany who have Prime Instant Video access will be able to stream the show once it airs. A release date for the show is yet to be announced.

The full press release follows below.
