Are you one of those people who likes to be able to touch and try the products you plan to buy before actually paying for them? Do you also want to buy things for the best possible prices? If you answered yes to both questions, you might have a problem. Retail stores don’t always offer you the best available deals on a product, Instead, people typically look online to sites like Amazon for better pricing. But what if that special deal expires by the time you actually get to order it online?

Well, there’s a neat trick you can use to get Amazon’s prices in any store that has a price matching policy. The advantage is that you can try it first, and you also won’t have to wait for the device to ship to your house.

The trick works without having an Amazon Prime subscription, but with access to Prime, you will at least have a way to quickly order the product if you run into any issues with personnel along the way. There are many advantages to subscribing to Amazon’s service (get it here) and using those prices to get better deals in retail stores is apparently a brand new one.

You also need to know whether your favorite retail stores have price-matching policies in place to take advantage of the offer.

Now, make sure you either download the Amazon mobile app on your smartphone or load Amazon.com in your browser while you’re visiting Best Buy or any other qualifying stores.

Once in a store that will match prices from competitors, all you have to do is to show the staff the better price you’d get on Amazon. As the following Business Insider video will show you, you’ll be able to save plenty of cash on your next purchases by simply leveraging this price-matching policy, which many people believe only applies to rival brick and mortar stores.

With Black Friday approaching fast, this trick might definitely come in handy. Some stores might ask you for a printed page showing the deal, and you have to make sure your chosen products are sold by or shipped by Amazon and not one of the many third-party sellers on the site.
